Built to change the industry
Language Assist was founded on a simple frustration — schools deserved better than overpriced systems, generic training and advice that didn't translate into day-to-day reality.
Why we exist
Education providers — RTOs, VET, ELICOS and CRICOS — work in one of the most regulated, fastest-moving sectors in the country. The pressure on quality, compliance and margin doesn't stop, and the help available to schools too often misses the mark: tools that don't fit how schools actually run, training that doesn't change behaviour, and advisors who've never managed a campus.
We started Language Assist to do this differently — with hands-on advice grounded in 20+ years of working inside the industry, not observing it from outside.
What we believe
Simplifying work simplifies life — for the people running schools, for the staff doing the work, and for the students they serve.
Every engagement we take on is judged against that idea. If a recommendation makes operations more complicated, we've got it wrong. If it helps a director sleep better and a teacher focus on teaching, we've got it right.
How we work
- Hands-on, not theoretical. Recommendations come with practical implementation steps — and where it helps, we do it alongside your team.
- Independent. We're not selling you a product. Our advice is honest about what's working and what isn't.
- Outcome-focused. KPIs that move, audits that pass, processes that hold up under pressure.
- Plain-spoken. No jargon. No 80-page reports nobody reads.
Who we work with
Schools and providers across Australia and the wider region — from single-campus ELICOS providers to multi-campus RTOs running diverse VET portfolios. We've worked with directors, principals, compliance officers, marketing teams and front-of-house staff. The common thread: schools that take their operations seriously and want a partner who'll help them get better at it.
What's next
If any of the above sounds like a fit, we'd love to talk. There's no high-pressure pitch — just an honest conversation about where you're at, what's getting in the way, and whether we can help.
